Welcome to our gallery

Discover some of the landscapes and seascapes that shaped and inspired Traigh Ban's title Rosie and the Secret of the Snogard

My way of exploring places is usually on foot, armed with binoculars, a camera and water; accompanied by my companion who routinely points out to me that we don't need to stop for every single bird, rock, view of the sea, plant, you name it... but is very patient nonetheless. The photos presented in this gallery were taken over the course of many years and are meant to give an impression of the British Isles how I've experienced them.

(You may be able to spot one photo that was not taken in the British Isles, but I really love it and felt that I absolutely had to include it.)
